The Food is Great. The staff extremely friendly. There is a possibility of getting random food which is really a great experience. What I don’t like about this restaurant is the interior, which looks like a run down place from the 70s. No Greek vibes here.

I'm excited! A Greek who is completely different from others. There is no gyros on the menu and there is no farewell ouzo. “Zum Toni” or “To nisi Taverna” is a large restaurant with well over 20 tables spread over several rooms. The menu is very confusing at first: meat or fish comes without any side dishes. For example, you can order the typical souvlaki skewers individually: € 2.50 per skewer, and you can order as many as you like. Side dishes have to be ordered separately, and there are no typical Greek plates for 2 people either. There are 2 menus, one with fish for € 22.50 and one with meat for € 17.50 and vegan for € 15. The fish or meat menus are awesome, very tasty and very, very much: mezed starters come in 6 courses, which are gradually served nicely and friendly, starting with cold dishes such as tarama, octopus salad, beetroot, then warm from baked sheep's cheese, a delicious grilled octopus arm, scampi, grilled anchovies, and, and, and. At the end there is a big fish, barbel, if I understand it correctly, and very tasty sliced ​​potato slices. I'm stuffed. The Paidakia, 4 large lamb chops for € 9.90, were also very tasty. The calamari psito at € 9.90 are not rings, but a whole grilled squid that hardly fits on a plate: very tasty and plentiful. Meltemi red wine, the ¼ at € 5.40 is dry and delicious, Parios Inos white wine, the ¼ at € 5.90, tasted “too Greek”. It wasn't for me. For dessert I have to recommend Archontiko for € 2.80: 3 large balls of Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts. The well-known Galaktoboureko at € 3.80, puff pastry filled with milk cream and vanilla ice cream, cannot keep up. All in all, I think Toni is cheaper than most of the other Greeks in the Stuttgart area, and with the menus he creates a great dinner experience for a slightly higher price, so that he also gets enough operating profit. 1 star deduction must be, however, for the fact that it is really freezing in the dining room in December and for the fact that no credit cards are accepted without warning.

After a reservation for 8 people there was only room for 6 people. After a short consideration we were offered a place without any further information. We asked the children to serve the food first, shouldn't be a problem. Then the adults were served the starters and the children had to wait. The children's menus only came after repeated inquiries. Even before these came, we were told that our table was reserved for a larger party and we should hurry so that the table would be free in time, even though we also had a reservation. We found that very outrageous. The food was not seasoned and chewy. After a request for ketchup, a giant can of spice ketchup came. The service left a lot to be desired. Not even an apology or insight came after a complaint. We will definitely not go there again or recommend it.
